A man who was arrested at a YMCA office in Sunnybrook, N. Y., on Thursday morning was charged with three counts of conspiring to traffic in counterfeit drugs and possession of counterfeit drugs, which was alleged to have led to a rise in the number of counterfeit drugs being sold online, according to a report from the New York Times.
The investigation is continuing after the arrest, which started at around 5:30 p.m.local time.
YMCA’s police officer, Richard R. Smith, was arrested by an officer working for the YMCA’s Internet Crimes Against Women Task Force, which is investigating the case.
According to the Times, the investigation started after they were approached by a young woman, who asked for a number of “Viagra and Cialis” pills in a search that was conducted by the YMCA’s undercover officer. The undercover officer turned to the YMCA’s agents and said that a man was running the investigation.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — U. S. Customs and Border Protection officials have seized more than $6.5 million in Viagra, brand name for the erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil, and other drugs that may be counterfeit.
The drugs were seized in a shipment from Mexico.
“The shipment of the counterfeit Viagra was a serious operation for the U. Border Patrol and was intended to deter consumers from purchasing products that may be unsafe,” according to a statement from the U. Customs and Border Protection Office.
The fake Viagra has been sold online for decades and is still in production.
“This seizure of counterfeit Viagra is a significant and life-saving operation that serves as a deterrent to individuals who may not be buying the original product. We urge consumers to purchase the counterfeit product online and seek safe and effective treatment for their erectile dysfunction,” the U. Customs and Border Protection Office said in a statement.
A shipment of Viagra from China that was found to be counterfeit could also be dangerous. The drug’s manufacturer, Pfizer, says it is not known how it works and that it may affect the heart and blood vessels that supply blood to the penis.
Counterfeit Viagra was found in the packaging of 10 bottles of the bottle and two 100-count packages of pills.
